23.9.11. A quiet day with only a few of us there. The work done was to finish off the flexible seals between the 1st, 2nd and 3rd slabs of concrete, to cater for expansion and contraction, day to night and summer to winter. The lower ones are being filled with a cement mix.
To do the job Steve had to drive to Scunthorpe and back before lunch for more of the materials, while Alan and I burned out the  expanded polystyrene used to make the space when pouring the concrete.
